We haven’t gotten much into planning what that would look like. We wanted to get the OSU coverage squared away, but I don’t think we’d require a subscription for that stuff. We’d probably just do it on YouTube for free

I don’t think we’ll do that. But you can always get the audio from the YouTube shows on the free podcast apps and be able to listen with your phone closed that way

My only hesitation in subscribing is that I am unfamiliar with Substack. I want to be able to cancel if needed and not ‘locked in” with something that’s not user friendly. However, it looks like you can upgrade and downgrade easily?
You can get paid shows here on Substack, or follow the steps in this article to add them to your podcast feed of choice. Fee shows are on YouTube, or on Apple/Spotify if you search Bill and Doug Show or click on the links below under free podcasts
I don't mind having the separate free and premium feeds on Spotify if needed, but I think there's a way to condense them into one. The Split Zone Duo guys used to have 2 feeds but combined them a while back

False alarm. On Desktop, go to the 'Bill and Doug on Ohio State Football' profile page. There will be a grey box that says "Subscribed" with a checkmark. Click that and till take you to a page to send yourself a link to your email, which you can then open on your phone.
If you’re seeing $14 I assume it’s because you’re trying to subscribe through the app on Apple iOS. Apple takes a cut of the subscription when you do that, so the price on your end is higher. On our end it’s still 9.99. To avoid the Apple fee, I would just subscribe via the web outside of the app

Can you still post all the content on substack? Substack lets you still listen to the videos when you lock your phone & youtube does not

This is what works for us. If you subscribe monthly, you can cancel whenever you want. It’s pretty simple.
